Hi Jo Ann,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to hear that you have royalty visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon!
On our last visit, one of our girls received a royal transformation at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - Magic Kingdom. Her Fairy Godmother-in-Training was spectacular. When she turned my princess around to let her see the transformation, the expression on my daughter's face was priceless. I was thrilled to see that the Disney PhotoPass photographer had captured that precise moment on camera. If you have Memory Maker, those photos will come with your Memory Maker package as long as your Memory Maker is active.
Given the tight schedule that the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training must follow, they create stunning hairstyles that stay in place to prevent the need for touch-ups. My daughter's hair looked just perfect the next day. She had to avoid the pool for a day, but she was so tickled with how she looked, she was happy. I did call to speak to a Fairy Godmother-in-Training who said that there was a slight chance to get in for a simple touch-up but you may be charged. If I were you, I would have a back-up touch-up plan - you want to make it to your dining reservation on time. I always bring our own hair care products to keep the hair in place.
Jo Ann, if your breakfast reservation is before Magic Kingdom opens, be sure that you find the cast members that are handling pre-park opening dining reservations at the park entrance. Also, make sure that you know what your transportation option will be to get to the park. In the past, we have been able to take the resort monorail from Disney's Contemporary and Disney's Polynesian Village Resorts. You could also try Minnie Van™ Service!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
