Going to DW in November. Customized my bands. Why do they still say pending? Am I going to need my bands to book fast passes? Because they will not be here before its time to book. Trying to read FAQ but confused. Thanks for any help. Ken

Hello Kenneth! I'm so glad you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

MagicBands don't typically ship to your house until 30 days prior to your vacation. The pending status of your MagicBand just means you still have time to customize them, if you'd like to change your name or color choice, until the shipping date. Once your customizing window has closed, you'll see the status change from pending to shipped. You won't actually need your MagicBands until you arrive at Walt Disney World for your vacation. As long as you've got your theme park tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account, which it sounds like you do, you'll be able to make your FastPass+ selections on the 60 days out mark.

If you haven't already, I highly suggested downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile App. It's going to make your vacation that much more magical and less stressful. From the app, you can check wait time of attractions, see when the next bus is going to arrive at your resort, order food via the new mobile ordering system and even unlock your resort room door! My favorite part of the app is seeing all of the pictures the Photopass Photographers have taken throughout the day.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
