Anne from GA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are going to DW in May. I need to know if a FP is not used, does that count as being used? In other words, if I make FP selections for my entire group of 11, and two of them don't go on the ride, can they still get a fourth Fast Pass?

Hiya, Anne! FastPass+ is the only way our little family of four can ride some of the most popular attractions like Peter Pan’s Flight in Magic Kingdom or Frozen in Epcot! It packs more magic into our day with less wait time.

Now, let’s pretend your group of 11 has FastPass+ reservations for Splash Mountain. If Peter and Wendy just can’t stand to get wet, and instead go grab nachos from Pecos Bill’s, their FastPass+ would indeed go unused. But instead of simply expiring or going away, that FastPass+ reservation will remain in My Disney Experience.

By logging on via your My Disney Experience app from your mobile device, you can reschedule Peter and Wendy’s Splash Mountain FastPass+ reservation and make it for something else, as well as making a fourth reservation for the other 9 guests in your party. Those 4th passes can only be made after the initial 3 FastPass+ reservations for the day are used in some capacity.

If I can shed some more light on FastPass+, please let me know. There’s a ton of fun to be had! ~ Lindsey P.
