We are going to DW in March and we are not staying onsite. We are interested in the dining plan because most of our time will be spent at the parks. Is there any way to get a dining plan even if we are not staying onsite?

Hi, Richard!   In order to participate in the Disney Dining Plan, you need to be staying at a Disney Resort and have booked a package (room/tickets.)   Although you cannot purchase the Dining Plan since you are at a non-Disney resort, you are still able to enjoy all the amazing restaurants at the parks, resorts, and Downtown Disney; you will just need to pay for your meals as you go.  I suggest you make Advance Dining Reservations as restaurants do fill up quickly.  You can do this online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Enjoy your March vacation to Walt Disney World.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
