We are going to DW March 2011. My dd will be 3 in April, the trip is for her bithday, will it be possible to "celebrate" her birthday when its 3 weeks away?We have to go in March due to spring break for our 11yr old DD.

    Hi there April!

You can absolutely celebrate your daughter's birthday during your trip!  Many guests plan Disney vacations to champion birthdays, anniversaries, accomplishments and triumphs that don't exactly coincide with their actual dates.  Start by ensuring that your reservation agent knows the reason for your trip when you book your resort room, so that it can be noted on your folio.  Next, be sure to pick up a free birthday pin for your little princess at guest relations at whichever park you visit first.  Have her wear it proudly, and I'm guessing you'll be amazed at how many Cast Members (and guests) wish her a special day!  You can also plan a number of special experiences to make her birthday vacation even more magical.  If your daughter loves princesses, a character meal featuring some of Disney's finest is a great idea.  Akershus at Epcot, Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian all host wonderful character meals.  I recommend that you make advanced dining reservations up to 180 days prior to your arrival to secure the date/time of your choice.  If you would like to have a cake delivered to your daughter's birthday dinner, you can order an edible work of art via the Disney cake hotline (yes, it really exists!) by calling (407) 827-2253.  An in-room celebration is another fabulous way to celebrate.  There are a number of wonderful packages that can transform your resort room into a birthday fantasyland.  For information on packages and pricing, you can visit .

I hope your daughter has a Disney birthday fit for a princess!
