    I will be at DW the first week of Oct. there are no times listed for HS on Oct 5 is it closed also is there any special events happening that week like run Disney other than the MNSSHP. just trying to see crowd levels. Usually arrive the week before.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Since October is still five months away, specific times are not listed at any of the four Disney Theme Parks for entertainment and MAGICAL Meet and Greets.  I want to assure you that Disney's Hollywood Studios will be open and ready to see if the Force is strong with you! (I already know the answer is YES!)  If you check back in July, and you will be able to plan when your favorite Disney Character is available and when your favorite stage show will be performing.

    From my research, there is not a major special event happening the week you are planning to arrive at Walt Disney World.  I have been to Walt Disney World many times in October, and my experience is that the crowds were very manageable.
