    Hi, We are going to DW for first time this October for my daughters 5th birthday. Could you recommend any special experiences we could add for her birthday or just that a 5 year old will enjoy? Also, do they do anything special for birthdays?

    Hi Cathy ~

    Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate a little Princess' Birthday! Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for her at your Disney Resort Hotel or any theme park Guest Relations location. You never know what pixie dust will come her way.

    Here are a few suggestions for special experiences to celebrate:
    * Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
    * Disney's Family Magic Tour
    * Make a character dining reservation to celebrate. Be sure to tell them she is celebrating her birthday. Most locations usually bring out a dessert and recognize her birthday. You could top off your birthday meal with a speciality cake by calling 407-827-2253. Advanced Dining Reservations and 72 hours notice is required.
    * Contact Disney Floral & Gifts. Their Dream Makers can help you plan anything including an in-room birthday celebration for your daughter
    * Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage
    * My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party
    * Attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

    Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR to help!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
