We are going to DW for the first time in May with our 5 y/o son. We know we can't fit everything into our schedule. If deciding between Epcot or HS, which would you recommend? Skipping one of the parks, or just a little bit of time at both?

    Hi Emily,

If you have Park Hopper passes, with a 5 year old boy, here is what I would do:

I'd start the day at Hollywood Studios. Be there at opening and head straight to Toy Story Mania. He is sure to love that ride. If he's a Star Wars fan, next head to the Jedi Training Academy. Then I'd stop by Luigi's Garage for him to see Lightning McQueen and his pal Tow Mater from the movie Cars.

After this, I'd hop on a ferry boat and ride it over to Epcot. There, I would take him to The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion. This slow moving, mesmerizing attraction ends in a multi-level aquarium. If he's tall enough, be sure to take him on Soarin' and Test Track. He'll also enjoy the Imagination Pavilion and the boat rides in Norway and Mexico.

I'd end the evening watching IllumiNations, as Fantasmic can scare some of the younger kids.

Have a wonderful vacation with your little boy,
