We are going to dw for the first time with with my 2 girls 7and 3. We are going in time for the very merry Christmas. I just wanted to know how much it is to get in and is it really worth it.

    Hi Dianne!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a fun event in the Magic Kingdom and something I look forward to every year.  Unfortunately, the dates and prices for the event isn't out yet; it probably won't be released until sometime this summer.  In 2011, the prices were $60.66 for an adult and $55.33 for a child (3-9) if purchased in advance for most of the nights; a couple of nights in November and December were more expensive.  You can also purchase tickets the night of the event, but it costs even more so getting them in advance is the way to go!

However, I can't tell you if it is worth or not.  Some guests absolutely love it and think it is worth every penny, while others don't.  I can tell you the party doesn't start until 7pm and lasts until midnight.  With very young children, you might not be able to spend that much time at the party.  Thus I usually don't recommend going with very young children from a value perspective.  However, if your budget allows, then it is definitely something that is sure to get the whole party in the Christmas spirit.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
