    We are going to DW for the first time in April. We are so excited about the Magic Bands being available. How many days before our vacation will I be able to log in and customize them? We are staying at AOA.Thanks

    Hi Shannon,

    First visits are always so exciting! The MagicBands are still in testing and Disney continues to make modifications to the process, but at this point, you generally have been able to customize your MagicBands at least five weeks before your arrival.

    Both times I have done so this fall, the deadline for customization was about 30 days before our visit, and we received our MagicBands three to four weeks in advance.

    The anticipation is even more intense once that MagicBand box arrives. It's a signal that your Walt Disney World vacation is soooo close.

    You are going to love Art of Animation with its great pools and amazing themed decor. Please let me or one of my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends know if we can help you with any planning tips over the coming months.
