We are going DW at the ens of this month and are trying the water parks for the first time. What are recommendations/ rules for shoes at the water parks?

    Hi, Virgina!

    Great question!

When we head to Disney's water parks, we either wear inexpensive flip-flops or, when the kids were younger, pool shoes.

However, you'll find lots of Guests wearing no shoes at all, too. There are low-to-the-ground sprinklers located around many of the walkways; this not only keeps certain areas cooler, but also offer hot feet a respite, too. If heading to one of the slides that are quite a distance from your seat, you'll be able to keep your feet cool with the help of those sprinklers.

I do recommend that you have some sort of footwear that can get wet (you'll be wet when you put them on) because you'll surely want to wear something when heading to get food, the bathroom or the store.

Have a wonderful time! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
