Hi, Richard! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by. I very much appreciate the Disney PhotoPass photographers during our vacations at Walt Disney World Resort. They always seem to be in the most magical places for family photos! Since we usually have hundreds (and often over a thousand!) photographic memories in our account, I always include
Memory Maker in our vacation plans. This wonderful product provides unlimited downloads of all of your Disney PhotoPass pictures, including on-ride photos and vides, as well as Magic Shots.
Reading of your travel plans has me so excited for you! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort twice within a few weeks of each other is definitely a magical way to spend your spring! Looking over the dates, I think you should be able to
use the same Memory Maker purchase for both trips. Disney PhotoPass pictures expire within 45 days of when they are taken. If you purchase and activate Memory Maker on March 24, it will include any recent photos linked to your My Disney Experience account that have not yet expired. To clarify - to activate Memory Maker, simply download on of your Disney PhotoPass pictures or videos. Once an item is downloaded, the clock starts on your 30 day activation period. Any Disney PhotoPass pictures taken within the next 30 days after activation will be eligible for download with Memory Maker. Considering the purchase and activation date of March 24 that you provided, your second trip will fall within that 30 day period. Just be sure to download the pictures from your second trip by April 23, which will be 30 days from that activation date.
Richard, please let me know if you have any other questions about how Memory Maker works. Thanks again for bringing this great question to us!
