We are going to DW at the end of June. We have two young boys, and they like to wake up early. So we have planned on most days of our trip a character breakfast reservations at different resorts at 7:30am. What is the best way to get to these?

Hi Ryane! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As a mom to three little ones who seem to think that waking up at 6:00 AM is the cool thing to do…I know a little about waking up as the sun comes up!

It is important to keep in mind that Complimentary Resort Transportation will begin to operate approximately 45 minutes before Theme Park opening. This means that unless a Theme Park opens very early you won’t be able to catch the bus to make it to your dining reservation on time. Be sure to use your My Disney Experience App to check the Theme Park operating hours and don't forget about Extra Magic Hours!

Since you said that your dining reservations are at different Resort hotels, you will have to factor in some extra transportation time. You will have to catch a bus from your Resort hotel to take you to a Theme Park. From that Theme Park you will have to catch a different bus (or hop on the Monorail) to take you to the Resort hotel where you will be having breakfast. It is recommended that when using the Complimentary Resort Transportation that you allow up to 90 minutes for transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort.

If you find that your dining reservations are too early to take advantage of the Complimentary Resort Transportation you can always call a cab. When looking for a reputable cab company I always ask at the Concierge desk for assistance. The Cast Members there are always happy to assist. If you are renting a car you can also always drive to the Resort hotel for your reservation.

I hope that you and your family have an Unforgettable time!
