We are going to DW at the end of January for 5 days with our 3, 6, and 8 year old girls then the Disney Fantasy. We are staying at the Art of Animation resort. Which dining, parks and other experiences to you recommend we see with our limited time?

Hi Kim, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

With 5 days you might be able to visit each theme park once and if lucky revisit Magic Kingdom even if for a half day.
Considering that you will be enjoying a Disney Cruise, I will not recommend visiting a water park or spending much time, if any, at your resort pool.

Arrive before park opening time to make the most of early hours, when crowds tend to be lower and the weather is just perfect.
Late night park hours are also a great time to be at the parks.
A midday nap is great to make the most of really late park hours.

Kids love strolling through the parks and crowds, enjoying all the sights, sounds and smells from the stores and attractions.

Get familiar with the parks and attractions so that you know what your children will enjoy the most.

Dining is also a big part of my family's vacation.  Character dining and Signature dining are excellent experiences to enjoy and share as a family.
Some of my favorite restaurants are Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, The Crystal Palace, 'Ohana, California Grill, Artist Point, Jiko-The Cooking Place, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano, Flame Tree Barbecue and Tony's Town Square Restaurant.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and The Pirates League offer fun and beautiful makeover experiences.  My daughter loves the mermaid makeover at The Pirates League.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
