My DH and I will be in DW December 15 and going home one the 26. What kind of suggestions or tips do you have for Christmas day? The 15th is my birthday so we will be celebrating that and of course, Christmas! 139 days to go!

    Hi Claudie!

December is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World. All of the parks and resorts will be decorated for the holidays. However, Christmas week will be packed. The end of the year is generally one of the busiest times at Walt Disney World. That is especially true on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

On both of those days there is a good chance that one or more theme park might close due to reaching capacity limits. This is especially true for the Magic Kingdom. You should definitely try to enter a park by mid-morning if not earlier and plan on staying there all day. In fact if you don't like crowds, I would recommend relaxing at your resort.

If you want to be in a park, don't expect to do as many attractions as you normally would. Also look for extra special entertainment that Disney usually provides on extra crowded days. I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
