We will be at DW in 10 days and are very excited! Thank you all so much for answering all of my questions so far, I have one more...We are staying at POR, are the kids allowed to have floats in the pool? i.e. swim rings, kickboards, noodles, etc

    Hi there Heidi,

Only 10 more days??? Are you excited yet!?  I'm excited FOR you!  My family is usually too excited to sleep once we reach the one week point, so I know how you feel!

You happen to be staying at my favorite moderate resort, Port Orleans.  The pools here are both awesome and you have the option of using both Ol' Man Island at Riverside AND Doubloon Lagoon over at French Quarter!  Both of these, in my opinion, are among the BEST pool areas on Disney property!

Noodles, swim rings, floaties, and other small pool toys are permissible but anything you actually sit or ride on top of is prohibited since it may block the view of lifeguards.  Both of the Port Orleans pool areas have spectacular water slides, on which pool toys including floaties are not allowed!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
