    Going to DW to celebrate my 40th! Staying at Beach Club and Polynesian Resort. Looking for restaurant recommendations in Disney Springs or parks that will do a cake or sing happy birthday. kids ages 7,11 and 16. Any extra fun ideas ? Thanks

    That is so exciting that you will be celebrating your 40th birthday at Walt Disney World!  I was lucky enough to visit Walt Disney World on my 40th birthday a couple of years ago, and it was definitely my best birthday ever!

    Most Walt Disney World restaurants can help you add a little extra pixie dust to a meal on a special day.  On my 40th birthday, we dined at Cinderella's Royal Table, and my husband had a glass slipper made of chocolate delivered to our table as a birthday surprise.  Special offerings like this vary from one dining location to the next.  You can read about and view menus for the various Walt Disney World Resort restaurants online.  Once you decide the restaurants you might be interested in, I would recommend calling and speaking to a Cast Member to see what is available in terms of birthday extras.

    Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs is also a great option for a birthday cake.  If you call or stop by Amorette's Patisserie 72 hours in advance, you can custom order a beautiful and delicious cake for your birthday celebration.

    Also, be sure to check out the Enchanting Extras Collection, which consists of over 100 unique experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  From spa experiences to dessert parties to special tours, you are sure to find something to make your celebration even more memorable.
