Hello! Going to DW in August with my husband, 2 kids (3yrs & 10mo), mother, mother in law, and 2 cousins (14 & 15). Which hotel is best for my family (Bay Lake Towers or Animal Kingdom). BLT location however AK seems to have more amenities for k

Hi Chacora! For a family of 8, the Two Bedroom Villas at either Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas or Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will offer your family comfort, convenience and fun. There are daily activities for children and the entire family. Both Resorts have children's interactive water play areas and awesome slides. Both Resorts have Community Halls that offer additional opportunities for activities such as crafts, video games, and board games which are perfect for a rainy day. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas does offer very interesting and educational Animal Programs for the family to enjoy.

Disney Bus Transportation makes travel from either of these Resorts to the Theme Parks, Water Parks and Downtown Disney very easy. In addition, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is accessible to Magic Kingdom by a walking path and monorail. It is also accessible to Epcot by monorail.

You and your family will enjoy either of these Disney Vacation Club Resort Villas. I would recommend that you take a family survey and plan to stay at that Resort this visit and the other Resort for your next visit. Happy Planning!
