We will be at DW at in April and have purchased the dining plan. I understand the plan is for the number of nights of the stay, not days. Can you use the dining plan after you have checked out of your hotel? We plan on staying until late on our last day.

Hi Jodi,

When I was on the dining plan last August, I learned a lot from research and recent experiences. I was also leaving late for the airport (7:00pm) on checkout day! I was definitely able to still use what I had left on Snack Options and Counter Service meals. Actually, we had a really nice lunch at "Pepper Market" located at Coronado Springs Resort the same day we had checked out of the resort, (I definitely recommend using this restaurant for your counter service meals, I was impressed!). It seems, as long as you have credits left on your plan, these can be redeemed from the day you arrive on the package until the day you checkout (inclusive). I am not yet completely familiar with the "New" Dining Plan and all the changes they have implemented, but I would assume this to still be the case. Please check with a Disney Cast Member when you arrive and check in at your resort. Have a wonderful trip!
