Are there any DVD's that show the characters in the parks to prepare my daughter for our trip? I saw a Disneyland one, but am not sure if it would be relevant for the World. She loves sing-alongs. I would also like a Princess and/or Pooh one too. Thanks

    What a great idea!

We prepared our son by watching movies too. I would suggest the following Disney’s Sing Along Songs movies: Beach Party at Walt Disney World and Camp Out at Walt Disney World. Although both were released in 2005 and have some outdated features (the now closed River Country, for example), you’ll still find them useful in preparing your child to meet the characters. Disneyland Fun was released in 1990 and although the footage is of Disneyland there are many similarities to Disney World which we found helpful.

I would also recommend ordering the free DVD planning video as you’ll get an overall tour of the resort

Although animated you can find many Princess Sing-Along Songs DVDs and the Sing A Song with Pooh Bear.

You could also borrow a friend’s family video from a recent trip. A simple search for “Walt Disney World video” on the internet will yield many family friendly sites where after you preview them, you could show her some of the shows and attractions. We did this for our son when he was obsessed with the monorail. There was a site with monorail footage that he would watch and just giggle with delight

I hope this gives you a few ideas and that your daughter has a magical trip!
