Hi Dave,
A cruise on the
Disney Cruise Line is one of my family's favorite Disney vacations. The ships are beautiful, the destinations are lovely, and the service is amazing.
Disney Vacation Club members receive an annual allotment of Vacation Points. In order to use these for a Disney Cruise, you first convert your Vacation Points into Reservation Points. This is an easy process and can be handled by Disney Vacation Club Member Services. One Vacation Point is equivalent to one Reservation Point. You can then use Reservation Points to book a Disney Cruise. I suggest that you check out the
Disney Vacation Club webpage about Disney Cruise Destinations. You can view the Reservation Points chart for specific destinations, which will give you Reservation Points needed for specific cruises and their dates. Reservation Points are listed per guest.
I encourage Disney Vacation Club members to consider the
Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise. This event brings together Disney Vacation Club members, and includes amazing extras such as fantastic in-stateroom gifts and special entertainment. This cruise is so popular that it is sold out for 2017; however, it is such a wonderful event that I expect it to continue for many years to come.
