The DVC Villas are set for a full refurbishment to be completed sometime in 2025. Do you know when the start-date for the refurbishment is? Rumor says October 2024 but wondering what the real estimated start date is. Thanks!

Welcome Home, Jill! Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. It's always a treat to meet a fellow DVC Member, and I am ready to swing into action like Tarzan through the jungle to hunt down the information you're looking for.

One of the many things I appreciate about being a Disney Vacation Club Member is the ability to stay in Deluxe accommodations without paying rack rates. We've stayed in many different DVC resorts over the years and they are always in tip-top condition--thanks to a regular cycle of refurbishments and renovations. In particular, I'm really excited about the recent replacements of pull-out couches with comfortable Murphy beds at several properties!

Jill, you've given me a mystery straight out of a game of Disney Clue with your question! I'm not sure which Disney Vacation Club resort you're referring to, but I spoke with some helpful folks at Member Services to see if I could get some insider information about upcoming renovations.

I have my fingers crossed that the new tower at Disney's Polynesian VIllas & Bungalows (our family's Home Resort!) will be completed before the end of 2024 to welcome Members to the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon. Just a monorail stop away,  Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is slated for a refurbishment spanning parts of 2024 and 2025. My pals at Member Services suggested that you keep an eye on the website for the specific resort that you're interested in, as often that's the first place where information on construction and potential impacts is listed.

Well, Jill, I don't know if I've been able to answer your question, but please feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like some more specific information on a particular DVC resort beyond what I've mentioned here. Thanks again for visiting planDIsney!
