    We are DVC and will be vacationing in march staying at BLT. We'll be celebrating my nephews 4th B-day while we are there and was wondering if the in-room surprise/gifts are worth it or appropriate for a 4 y/o? Are there any other special b-day experiences?

    Hi Virginia,

    You will just love staying at Bay Lake Towers in March!  It is fantastic to be able to take the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot or even walk to the Magic Kingdom.  I think birthday celebrations are very special and to be able to celebrate at Walt Disney World makes it Magical!  Be sure to let the front desk know when you check-in that you are celebrating your nephew's birthday.  They may be able to send some balloons or have his favorite character sign a birthday card for him.  I would make sure you pick up a Happy Birthday button at Guest Relations at any of the theme parks so Cast Members and other guests can help you celebrate!  Also, let your server know if you are dining at a Table Service restaurant that it is his birthday as sometimes they will sing or give him a special dessert.  Disney Floral and Gifts are just amazing!  I have never been disappointed in anything that we have ordered.   You will have several birthday choices that are very appropriate for a four year old boy.   If you are not sure, you can always call and speak with a Cast Member about your concerns at (407) 939-4438.  The gifts are displayed wonderfully throughout the room and makes everything very festive!  I think they are definitely worth the price!  Regardless of what you choose, I know your nephew's birthday celebration will be so special to him!  Thank you so much for the question, Virginia.  I know your vacation will be just magical!
