We are DVC with an upcoming stay; I have a Disney account and annual pass but, DH doesn't. We got a replacement for his old style band (dying chip). How can I link his new band so we can choose it for our next stay? Do we have to do it on-site?

"Welcome home," Terri and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love connecting with fellow Disney Vacation Club Members and am happy to chat with you about MagicBands.

Terri, it looks like your next trip to your "home away from home" is right around the corner. Living through these uncertain times, I have come to appreciate our Disney Vacation Club Membership and the flexibility it offers even more and can't wait until we are back again.

Since your Magical vacation is now only a few weeks away, let's talk about that MagicBand. Since you have purchased a replacement, you are able to connect that band via your My Disney Experience account from the comfort of your home. If you manage your husband's My Disney Experience account, you are able to link the band easily by logging into your account and entering the number you will find on the inside of the new band. Once you have the number entered, the second step will be to assign the band. Here you can assign the band to your husband as long as you are the manager of his plans.

Terri, I hope this helps as you are preparing for your upcoming trip. Please swing on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have. We are all EARS.

    Wishing you a pixie-dusted stay!
