1st DVC trip in Oct. Wondering if the doors at OKW or Poly are metal? We have magnets from our cruise last year I'd like to decorate with. Thank you for all the great tips

    Hi Jamie,

Let me be one of the first to say, "Welcome home!" to Disney Vacation Club. You have many magical years of vacation memories ahead of you!

You are heading to a couple of great resorts. I love Disney's Old Key West Resort for the relaxing, Florida Keys feeling. It is such a comfortable place to call home for a Walt Disney World vacation. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are lovely. The tropical feel at this resort is wonderful, and it is great to be located so close to the monorail for easy access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

I checked with Disney Vacation Club, and they do prefer that doors at resorts not be decorated. You are welcome to decorate inside your room. Perhaps your magnets could go on the door of your refrigerator, for a festive in-room touch!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jamie. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions!
