Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jenna! I love connecting with a fellow resident of the Keystone State and am excited that you're planning another visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Jenna, when I first became a Disney Vacation Club Member and started exploring more of the Walt Disney World Resort outside of the parks, I was amazed to learn about
Community Halls. These spaces, as you're describing, are such a great place to enjoy games, crafts and other activities. My youngest son and I made a Mickey Mouse shaped wreath on our last trip to
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort in the Community Hall and he still talks about that.
Jenna, you can find similar Community Halls at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village,
Disney's BoardWalk Villas,
Disney's Riviera Resort and
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. I would also encourage you to check out
Reunion Station, a stand-alone structure convenient for guests of both
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins and
Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (
but available to all Disney Vacation Club Members) that hosts unique experiences for a small fee. Wherever you decide to call "home" on your next trip, I hope you are able to take advantage of all the extra activities.
Jenna, since you're interested in fun outside of the theme parks, have you thought about getting your golf game on? My family and I have been talking a lot about other ways we can enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort and one activity we are eager to check-off our bucket list is a trip to
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf or
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf. If you have any budding putting pros, I would consider this a great way to spend an evening.
Jenna, I hope this helps as you're looking ahead to your next trip and if you think of any other questions, please come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are all... EARS.
Lauren
