Are there any DVC resorts that allow cats? If no, what non dvc locations would allow a pet cat?

    Hiya, Darren!

Welcome to planDisney –– I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. As a pet owner myself, I know how tough it can be to leave your furry friends behind when you travel.  Let me share a few details about bringing your pets along to Walt Disney World Resort to help you plan for your upcoming visit.

Everybody wants to be a cat because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at! But while I hate to be a square, while there are some Disney Resorts Collection hotels that offer pet-friendly accommodations, only dogs are allowed in these rooms, at this time.  This means that there aren't any hotels, including the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, that will allow your pet cat to stay in your room with you.  I know this probably isn't the news you were hoping to hear, but I have another option for you to keep your feline friend close by –– Best Friends Pet Care.  Located near Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, this relaxing retreat not only offers fantastic accommodations for our fluffiest family members, but you'll also have the opportunity to book activities and even grooming services during their stay.   For more information or to book a stay, you can visit the Best Friends Pet Care website or call (407) 209-3126.

Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Darren.  I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you think of something new as you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!

    Happy Planning,
