Hi Lori,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for asking a question about the Deluxe Studio kitchenettes, I love being able to prepare a quick bite before hitting the parks (especially in the morning). It's another way Disney Vacation Club accommodations help you feel at home!
Kitchenette amenities vary a bit at each Disney Vacation Club Resort, but you can always count on essentials like a microwave, coffeemaker, glasses, coffee mugs, paper plates, bowls, and plastic utensils. Some Deluxe Studios, like those at
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows,
Disney's Riviera Resort and
Disney's Old Key West Resort, are equipped with a toaster, though this isn't standard at all Disney Vacation Club Resorts. If you'd like a toaster and it's not provided, you can request one! Just use the in-room "
Hey Disney" voice assistant, call or visit the Front Desk, If one is available, housekeeping will be happy to bring one to your room.
My travel party always makes good use of the Deluxe Studios' small refrigerators - we like to start the day with cold water bottles. The small refrigerators have a little freezer where you can make ice cubes whereas beverage coolers only cool to 41F. All Deluxe Studios have small refrigerators except for the Deluxe Studios at
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Lori. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Walt Disney World Resort, please revisit us at planDisney if you have any additional questions!
See ya real soon,
Candace
