Which DVC resort would recommend over the Christmas holiday? The Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Boardwalk Villas?

    Hello, Joseph!

Oh, my...this is a great question!

Both resorts are wonderful, and both will be even more spectacular around the Christmas holiday.

However, one of the two gives you easier access to TWO parks during this most beautiful season in Walt Disney World. Disney's Boardwalk Villas will afford you easier access to TWO Walt Disney World parks; you can walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Boardwalk Villas. The Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing LIghts is at Hollywood Studios and is something that you might want to see more than once. In addition, Epcot's Holidays Around The World-Candlelight Processional is equally magical, as are the International decorations and celebrations in each country in the World Showcase. Being within walking distance to two of these parks is truly wonderful, so I'd give extra consideration to this fact prior to booking.

Of course, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge will be wonderful, too. (So don't give it a second thought if you book this fabulous resort. It's lovely any time of year!)

Please send any additional questions you may have as you plan your upcoming Holiday trip to Walt Disney World! I love to help!
