We have DVC reservations for December 2020. Assuming we can get restaurant reservations for then, is there a minimum $ amount ? For example, at Citricos, Toppolinos, Whispering Canyon? We like to order appies, salads, desserts, and/or wine/drink for dinner

Hey there, Shelley! First, as a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, let me offer a hearty, "welcome home!" to you and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your excellent question.

Shelley, while I love every aspect of a Disney Parks vacation, enjoying food from all around "the world" may just be my favorite! The snacks, the desserts, the drinks- I love it all! I also love YOUR dining strategy that allows you to sample some favorites.

Shelley, while most restaurants do not have a spending minimum, I would highly recommend reviewing the menus prior to booking. For example, at Whispering Canyon Cafe, you could easily order starters or desserts to share (or enjoy on your own) but some menu items such as the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Signature Skillets are priced per person and would not fall in the shareable category. Another example where you would not able to order a la cart is The Garden Grill Restaurant located at EPCOT. Here you will find a prix fixe menu, served family style and priced per person with no other options.

Since you specifically mentioned Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera and Cítricos, both menus (for dinner) have a variety of options that you can enjoy however you like.

Shelley, I hope this helps as you are making your mouthwatering list of restaurants for December and I will be crossing my fingers that you're able to secure each and every reservation. As my pal, Chef Remy, would say "if you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff." Please come back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have!

Best wishes for a vacation that is delectable in every sense of the word,
    Lauren
