I have a DVC reservation for Mat, My grown son & his wife will be joing us. How do I get them Magic Bands & Tickets ?? Mark

Hey there, Mark! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. I love chatting Disney with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

In just a few weeks, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical family adventure at your fabulous Disney Vacation Club Resort! How exciting! Early May is one of the BEST times to visit Walt Disney World Resort, in my opinion. The weather is usually pretty mild, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom, and the warmer spring temperatures are the perfect excuse to enjoy midday pool breaks at your Resort. The only thing that can make a magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort more wonderful is spending it with family, so, let's chat about getting your son and daughter-in-law in on the fun!

First, make sure that your son and daughter-in-law are listed as Guests under your DVC reservation. If their names are not yet on the reservation, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" This is an easy fix. Just log in to your account on the DVC website, hover over "my DVC," and click "My Dashboard." Scroll down to your May reservation, click the little blue arrow to the left of it, and click the "View or Modify Details" button to modify the Guest information and add your son and daughter-in-law to complete your 'ohana

Next, head on over to your My Disney Experience account. Scroll down a bit and look for the icons under "Mark's Plans and Tickets." These icons act as a sort-of to-do list! Just follow them in order. First, if your son and daughter-in-law have My Disney Experience accounts, make sure they are linked on your "My Family & Friends" List. Once your son and daughter-in-law are listed as Guests on the DVC reservation and listed as Family & Friends, link your Resort reservation under the Resort Hotel icon, and link the Guests to the appropriate Guest on the Family & Friends list. Next, click the "Park Tickets" icon and "Select Tickets" to purchase tickets for your son and daughter-in-law. Like Princess Tiana, you are almost there!

Next, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and click "My MagicBands and Cards" to "Get Started" with purchasing MagicBands for every Guest in your party who would like one. Just make a note of how many days you have left to complete your order and don't miss the cut-off date for customization and to have the MagicBands shipped to your home!

One last thing, Mark! Once everyone in your party has tickets, don't forget to make Theme Park Pass reservations for everyone. Park pass reservations are required for all Guests to enter the theme parks, so, reserve those as soon as you can!

Mark you should be all set to have the BEST. DAY. EVER! I hope this was helpful, and I hope you and your family have the most unforgettable upcoming vacation. Please stop by any time with any vacation planning questions. You've got a friend in me!

I hope to see ya real soon,

    Mandy
