Disney cruise!
Sheila, you’ll be happy to hear that you can use your Vacation Points towards a Disney cruise! In order to book a Disney cruise using your points, you’ll have to
call Member Services. But first things first! You’ll need to know how many Vacation Points to exchange to book your cruise. Luckily, DVC provides
point charts for each and every sailing. Just look for your desired destination, ship, and travel dates and click on the appropriate point chart. The point charts list the amount of points needed on a per person basis based on double occupancy of the stateroom. The bottom rows of the point chart show how many additional points are needed for third and fourth guests in the same stateroom.
Sheila, for these types of exchanges there’s a couple pointers you’ll need to know. First, only DVC members
eligible for Membership Extras can exchange points towards a Disney cruise. In addition, there’s a transaction fee associated with these exchanges. Lastly, for reservations within your current Use Year, you’ll have to book it
prior to the last four months of your Use Year.
