As a
Disney Vacation Club Member, you have so many opportunities to use your
Vacation Points in all sorts of ways to make the trip of your dreams a reality. One excellent route is using your points for a magical sailing with
Disney Cruise Line! By exchanging your Vacation Points for reservation points, you can then use them for a cruise booking.
Your first stop will be the
Points Charts, which break things down by destination, sail dates, and accommodation type. This will show you how many points you'll need for your booking. One Guest in your stateroom must be paid for entirely with points, while the other Guests may be covered with cash or points. If you have an infant or child in your party, you can designate them as the all-points Guest, which will save you some points.
Once you check your charts, go ahead and reach out to the always-helpful Cast Members at
Member Services. They can process the transaction to exchange your points and make your cruise reservation. The exchange carries a one-time, nonrefundable fee (currently $95, subject to change).
Before you cruise off into the sunset, be sure to take a peek at the
Member Benefits section of the DVC website. It's a great resource to find any deals and discounts available for Members. And once you're at sea, visit the DVC desk each day for some fun Member swag! There's typically a Member event or two on most sailings, so check your DCL Navigator for details.
