How many DVC points are needed for a 3 night cruise?

Hi, Kim! After experiencing the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) tour at Walt Disney World previously, we actually decided to join DVC on a Disney cruise. Using our points to take a Disney cruise seemed just the extra reason we needed to make the final commitment.

The amount of DVC points needed for a 3-night, Bahamian cruise is going to depend on several factors:

    • The time of year you book. Ranging from Value Season to High Peak Season, the point values vary greatly.
    • The stateroom category you prefer. From standard, inside staterooms to deluxe family staterooms with a verandah, there's a huge disparity between categories, and there's even a difference among each category depending on the options you choose.
    • The number of people in your traveling party and their ages. There are set values for the first two adults and then separate values for others -- depending on the age(s) of the guest(s).

Your best resource is the Vacation and Reservation Points Chart for Disney Cruise Line which you can find in your DVC Membership Book or on-line at www.dvcmember.com. There you can calculate your necessary points based on your unique wishes and needs.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a beautiful day and a magical vacation! Bon voyage!
