If I use DVC points to book a 2 bedroom villa, but two different families are staying together can they purchase separate tickets? The one family is eligible for military tickets. And can both buy the dining plan?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Leah!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. How exciting that you are planning a great big beautiful vacation at your home sweet home, Disney Vacation Club.  Our family loves the home-like amenities of the Villas, because it sure is a great way to gather the 'ohana, enjoy family time and meals together after a fun Disney day, and make magical memories.

Leah, when you book your two-bedroom Villa with your Disney Vacation Club Points, your Points cover the cost of your room.  However, theme park tickets are a separate purchase. So, your family and the second family can purchase your theme park tickets separately.

The one thing to note, though, is that undated tickets, such as Annual Passes and Military Tickets, do require a theme park reservation. So, it is possible that your family might have dated tickets (which gives you a window in which you can use them) and not require a theme park reservation, but the party purchasing Military Tickets will need a theme park reservation. But not to worry, Leah! Making theme park reservations is as easy as Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!   Once they have those Donald Ducks in a row, you will be able to enjoy the theme parks together, and have a magical time.

For purchasing the meal plan, as long as all of the Guests in the room have their names on the room reservation, and you used Disney Vacation Club Points to book your stay, you can add the meal plan for all of the Guests right through your Disney Vacation Club dashboard.  To do this, once you have booked your Villa, just go to the My DVC tab and select My Dashboard. Under your vacation plans, there is an arrow next to the date of your upcoming stay. Click on that, and it opens up an area that includes "Trip Options." You should see the option to add the Disney Dining Plan right there. It will walk you through the total price for your stay for the number of Guests, and from there, you can choose which plan you want and check out right from this page.  If you have any trouble adding the Disney Dining Plan to your stay, you can call Member Services to assist you.

I hope this helps you, Leah! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, soar back here to see me. Remember, wherever you wander and wherever you roam, Disney Vacation Club is always your home sweet home!

    Magically Yours,
    Keri
