Can you use DVC points for an Adventure By Disney?

    Hi Larry,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  One of the aspects of Disney Vacation Club that I love the most is the ability to be flexible and to take so many different kinds of vacations!

Adventures by Disney trips are offered through Disney Vacation Club as part of the Disney Collection.  You can exchange your Vacation Points for Reservation Points in order to book these trips through Disney Vacation Club.  For more information, you can log on to the Disney Vacation Club member website.  Select the tab for "Destinations" and scroll down to Adventures by Disney.  If you would like to know the points required for these trips, once you have logged on, head to the tab for "Vacation Planning"  and select "Points Charts."  Then click on the tab for "Disney Collection" and scroll down to find Adventures by Disney.

There are currently special offers for Disney Vacation Club members on Adventures by Disney trips.  To find these, select "Membership Magic" from the Disney Vacation Club member website, and then choose "Membership Experiences."  Scroll down to find information on special offers for Disney Vacation Club members including tips exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members.

Please do note that Adventures by Disney is a part of the Disney Collection, and if you purchased your membership after March 21, 2011 from a source other than directly through Disney, you will not be able to use your Vacation Points for the Disney Collection.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Larry.  Have a wonderful time planning your magical adventure, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
