The DVC Moonlight Magic on Nov 15, 2018 policy is "Entire party must check in together prior to event access", but 1 member of my family can only arrive after 10 PM due to classes. Would I be able to exit the party and check him in separately?

    Hi Gregory,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!

I'm excited for you that you'll be attending Moonlight Magic at Disney California Adventure Park. As a Disney Vacation Club Member, I think the Moonlight Magic events are so much fun. I really enjoyed Moonlight Magic at Magic Kingdom Park and Moonlight Magic at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. For me, the most fun part of the evening was getting to meet up with the special Disney Characters!

You're correct that the registration confirmation states that entire party needs to check-in together to access the event. I reached out to Disney Vacation Club Member Services with your specific question. They let me know that when you check-in, your Guest's name should be on your registration and you can then meet your Guest at the front of the theme park to access the event. My personal suggestion is to double-check when you arrive at the event to check-in for yourself and the rest of your party. If you have additional questions, you can contact Disney Vacation Club Member Services at (800) 800-9800.

Gregory, here's wishing you lots of fun at your Moonlight Magic event!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
