Hello I am DVC Mmbr and Annual Passholder. We are planning a trip to WDW in Nov, we will have a group of 12-14. My husband has had the DAS Pass the last 4 times we have been to WDW, we anticipating him getting it again, is there a guest limit on DAS PASS?

    Hey There, Brandee!

From a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, let me extend a warm "Welcome Home" to planDisney!  Thanks so much for stopping by with your question today.  Are you getting excited about your Walt Disney World vacation yet?  For me, the anticipation always seems to ramp up right around the 90-day mark –– that's when it finally starts to set in that you'll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. in just a matter of weeks!

The Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of the key ways that Walt Disney World Resort helps ensure that everyone has an improved experience when they visit the parks.  While Guests needed to wait to add this service once they arrived at the parks in the past, Guests located in the United States can now pre-register for the DAS service up to 30 days in advance of their visit (but no fewer than two days before they arrive).   To do this, the Guest who is registering for the DAS Advance service will speak with a Cast Member via live video chat.  During this call, you'll be able to make up to two DAS selections before you arrive.  Then, once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you'll be able to make additional DAS selections on the day of your visit –– seriously, how cool is that?

Each Guest who is registered with the DAS service has the opportunity to include themselves and up to five additional Guests when making their selections.  When it's time to register, you'll be asked which members of your Friends & Family List you'll be traveling with –– since you'll be traveling with a large group, I recommend adding all the members of your traveling party at this time.  Then, when it's time to choose a return time in the My Disney Experience mobile app, you'll be able to choose who will accompany the DAS Guest from that group.

Since you won't be able to secure a return time for your entire party using the DAS service, the rest of your party will need to use an alternate method for entering the queue (for instance, standby lines or Lighting Lane access).  However, if the members of your party are planning to purchase the Genie+ service or Individual Lightning Lane access, there may still be opportunities for your whole group to ride together –– to do this, the Guests who won't be using a DAS selection can choose a Genie+ Lightning Lane or select an Individual Lightning Lane time, and once this is done, the DAS Guest can choose a return time with the same window for the rest of your party.  That way, your whole group will be able to enter the line together and ride at once.  And if you need help coordinating this, you can always stop to ask a Cast Member for assistance –– they're pros when it comes to strategizing!

Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Brandee.  I hope this helped to answer your questions and I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
