DVC members going to WDW for wife's birthday (on NYE). When can I start making RSVP for dining or any NYE-related events for her birthday? I realize everything is uncertain due to COVID - what's the best way to stay up to date as things change?

"Welcome home," Liz and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Liz, celebrating New Years Eve and your wife's birthday at the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like a pixie dusted start to 2022 and I'm happy to help in your planning. Dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance and if you're staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort (or other Disney Resorts Collection hotel), reservations can be made for the length of your stay, up to 10 days. Since you're traveling at a popular time, I do recommend logging on to your My Disney Experience before 6:00 AM EST exactly 60 days before your check-in date to have access to the most availability.

Now, Liz, in terms of making reservations for other "special" experiences, that will vary depending upon what Magic is in store for the Walt Disney World Resort. I encourage you to keep a close watch on the Disney Parks Blog as holiday announcements (and offerings) tend to pop up there first. You can also find new content on planDisney's Instagram account: @planDisneypanel.

Best wishes, Liz for a wondrous holiday season and a memorable celebration. If you have any additional questions I hope you'll come on back to planDisney where we love to help guests make wishes come true.
