We are DVC members traveling in December and want to do the Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Can we do that if we are all on the Disney Dining Plan? And how can we find out when those reservations will become available?

Hi Karen, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a delightful question. Even though it's only February, there is nothing I love more, at any time of year, than talking about all of the special holiday events and experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.

You are smart to be thinking early about the Candlelight Processional, as it is truly one of the most magical holiday experiences in all of Walt Disney World. In fact, I like it so much that I attended two of these performances last December. The secret is definitely out about this moving and breathtaking event because it is incredibly popular with both vacationing Guests and Orlando locals who make it a tradition to celebrate the holidays each year by attending one of these performances.

In order to reduce wait times for the event and to ensure that you will have a seat during the performance, you are very wise to book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Typically these packages go on sale in late June or early July. Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for more information as details regarding this year's packages get released.

While we will have to await specific details for this year's Candlelight Processional Dining Packages once they are released this summer, in past years Guests have been able to redeem two Disney Dining Plan Table Service credits per Guest for the package. Hopefully there will be no change to this policy for the upcoming year.

Wishing you all the best with your continued planning for your upcoming holiday vacation at Walt Disney World. Should you have any other questions, please send them our way. We would love to hEAR from you!
