Hi Patricia,
My family and I were able to visit Walt Disney World during the holiday season last year, and it was truly magical to see all of the theme parks decorated in their winter best!
Typically, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is shown at Magic Kingdom Park a couple of times a day in the week or so leading up to and surrounding Christmas. Although I do not have the exact times for this year, last year it ran at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. We loved seeing the reindeer and toy soldiers in this parade!
I believe that you are also going to the Candlelight Processional, which is a lovely retelling of the Christmas story at Epcot. There is so much to do during the
winter holidays at Walt Disney World. If you have time, I suggest that you head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios to see
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. This immersive and massive display of holiday lights is amazing!
If your visit includes any of the dates of the Disney Vacation Club Merry Member Mixer, I suggest that you head to this fun event, held at the World Showplace in Epcot. The Merry Member Mixer includes characters, music, refreshments, and crafts for the children. To find more information on the Merry Member Mixer, visit the
Disney Vacation Club member website. Once you have logged in, if you scroll down the page you will see a link for more information on the right.
I hope that this gives you some ideas for your holiday trip to Walt Disney World, Patricia. Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
