    Hi, We are DVC members thinking about doing a cruise, would we get transportation to Port Canaveral if we spent the first week in Disney World and the second week cruising, many thanks

    Hi Laura!  

    Welcome home, fellow DVC member!  I love your way of thinking... family fun at the Parks first, then cruising the following week.  Yeah!  That is exactly what my family and I did last summer.  I think that's the best way to enjoy your vacation.  You'll get the relaxing part down while on the cruise for sure.

    Ground Transfers from your Disney Resort to Port Canaveral is available for an additional fee ($35 per person each way) by booking with Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Transportation directly.  I would highly recommend using this service for ease and comfort.  You can add this to your vacation itinerary, by calling your travel agent or the DCL Travel Desk at 800-951-3532.  The Disney Cruise motor coach will pick you up from your Disney resort on embarkation morning and will whisk you away to Port Canaveral directly.  Your pickup time & instructions will be sent to your Disney Hotel room the night before. You'll need to get your special luggage tags on your bags, so that the driver loads these up on the bus and these will all be delivered to your stateroom on the cruise ship that same afternoon.  

    If you are heading back to the MCO Airport after your cruise, the ground transfer can also be booked through Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers.
