Can DVC members staying at other resorts at Disney World still view the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Bay Lake Tower viewing deck ?

    Hi Scott,

I believe that the viewing deck that you are talking about at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is the one attached to the Top of the World Lounge.  It is a wonderful lounge, and the view from the observation deck is breathtaking.

The complete policy as to who can access the Top of the World Lounge is available at the Disney Vacation Club Member Website.  Once you are there and have logged in, click "Destinations" and go to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Under the Top of the World Lounge, you will find the complete policy.

Disney Vacation Club Members staying at any Walt Disney World Resort, whether booked using Disney Vacation Club points or another method of payment, can access the Top of the World Lounge.  Blackout dates for this perk are July 3 and 4, and December 30 and 31, 2013.  The lounge is open from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.  To gain access to the Top of the World Lounge, you will need to present a currently valid Key to the World card which notes your Disney Vacation Club membership.  If your Key to the World card does not note your Disney Vacation Club Membership, you will also need to present your Disney Vacation Club membership card.  You will need to enter Bay Lake Tower and check in at the Top of the World desk.

I hope that this information helps, Scott!  Have a great time watching the fireworks from the Top of the World Lounge.  It is truly magical.
