We are DVC members and stay at OKW for most visits. But we would like to stay at a resort that has a beach. Does the Wilderness Lodge have a beach? Thank you.

    Hi Gary,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  One of the aspects of Disney Vacation Club that I really like is the ability to try out many different resorts with various themes.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge does have a beach area which is quite close to The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  This beach does have a playground, as well as lots of lounge chairs.  Other Disney Vacation Club resorts that feature access to a beach include Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Beach Club Villas, and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Please do note that at all of these locations, you cannot swim in the water adjacent to the beach.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Gary.  Good luck in making your decision on where to stay next, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
