We are DVC members and seasoned park visitors but we’re wondering about non-ride/attraction things such as play areas in parks like Hollywood Studios for our 3yo daughter as she doesn’t meet the height requirement for lots of rides. Any ideas?

"Welcome home," Carly! As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member I'm excited to chat with you!

Carly, as a Mama of two Mouseketeers who visited during their toddler and preschool years, I appreciate the need to let your little one play and experience the park. While Disney's Hollywood Studios is well known for letting resistance fighters live their own Star Wars adventure and thrill seekers to conquer the Twilight Zone, there are a plethora of other options with no height requirement! When my boys were younger, the following experiences were among their favorites:
       - For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration (This is one of my favorites too! The Arendelle historian's humor is great for dreamers of all ages!)
       - Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage
       - Muppet*Vision 3D
       - Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy (My family and I just experienced this for the first time this summer and it was a hit even among older-elementary school kids).
       - Vacation Fun - An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie (This is comparable to a short film, but has the cutest props outside the exit, perfect for picture taking! My eight-year-old loved this so much that we watched it twice in one day!)

In addition to the attractions above, make sure to stop in the park if you hEAR music, because you're likely about to see the cutest Motorcades featuring Mickey and some friends like Mike & Sully and Edna Mode. These Motorcades are short (making them perfect for a 3-year-old attention span) and happen multiple times a day.

Carly, I hope this helps you better imagine and plan for your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney where we love to help guests have INCREDIBLE vacations!
