We are DVC members, and want to purchase the Tables in Wonderland card for our Jan 2014 trip. We will dine at Boma on our first night, and won't be going to a park that day. What is the best way to get the card? We are staying at Kidani Village. Thanks!

    Hi Lindsey,

I have a Tables in Wonderland card, and I love the benefits that I get from it.  Enjoying a 20% discount on food and beverage at many Walt Disney World dining locations is great!

As a Disney Vacation Club member, you will need to visit Guest Relations at one of the four Walt Disney World theme parks or at Downtown Disney to purchase your Tables in Wonderland card.  You will need to present photo identification as well as your Disney Vacation Club member card.

Since you are not going to a theme park on that first day, I checked with a representative at Tables in Wonderland who let me know that there are Guest Relations windows outside of the turnstiles at each Disney theme park.  This means that you will not need to use a day of theme park admission to get to Guest Relations.  I suggest that you hop on a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village over to Disney's Animal Kingdom.  This is geographically the closest theme park and so should be the quickest for you to head over, purchase your Tables in Wonderland Card at Guest Relations, and head back to your resort for dinner.  My second recommendation would be to catch a bus to Downtown Disney and purchase your Tables in Wonderland card there.  The Guest Relations windows at Downtown Disney can tend to be a little less crowded than those at the theme parks.

I hope that this gives you some ideas, Lindsey.  Enjoy your dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa. I love the exotic flavors there!  Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
