We are DVC members planning a 9-day trip. We would be spending 8-days in the Theme Parks and 1-day at the Water Park. What is the most economical way to purchase our park tickets?

    Hi Courtney!
How fantastic to have a nine day trip planned to Walt Disney World.  It is great to be able to relax and enjoy your resort as well as the theme parks.  Make sure you take advantage of booking your dining 180 days out.  With so many days to play, you may want to consider taking advantage of the 15% Member savings on special tours available at all the theme parks. My favorites are "The Keys to the Kingdom" tour at Magic Kingdom and "Behind the Seeds" tour at Epcot.

Your question is a great one!  I always think about if I am going to return to Walt Disney World in the next year from my vacation.  If you are returning, it may be more beneficial to buy a Annual Pass at the discounted DVC rate of $419 (ages 10 and up) and $386 (ages 3-9.)  Magic Your Way tickets (base ticket) for 8 days will be $275 (ages 10 and up) and $256 (ages 3-9.)  If you want to include the Park Hopper option, the price will increase to $330 and $310 respectively.  With regards to the one day at the Water Park, I would buy this individually and utilize your DVC discount of $4 off per adult and $3 off per child.

I hope you have the most magical vacation and Welcome Home!
