    Do DVC members get discounts on park tickets? If so, can they purchase tickets for other people as a gift but not go on the trip? Thank you:)

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    Currently, Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a discount on select Walt Disney World Annual Passes and Premium Annual Passes.  This is a great member perk - my family has purchased our Annual Passes and now Premium Annual Passes using this discount for years, and it is great!  This offer is good for Disney Vacation Club members and their immediate family members residing in the same household.  When you purchase these tickets, you will be required to show your Disney Vacation Club member card and every adult will need to produce a valid driver's licence or state-issued identification proving that you all live in the same household.  The limit is eight annual passes per 12-month period.  Once the passes have been purchased, it seems to me that they should be able to be used without the Disney Vacation Club member present. 

    Information on this and other member benefits can be found in Portable Perks, which can be downloaded from the Disney Vacation Club member site.  Once you are at the site, go to the "Member Extras" tab and choose "Perks and Benefits" from the drop down menu.  Please remember that this and all other Disney Vacation Club perks are subject to change.
