We are DVC members since '98 and are coming 12/22-12/29 2012. Family of 7- kids ages 28-15 yrs. staying AKL. Since it will be very crowded, we are trying to pick which parks are least crowded on which days. Any suggestions? Thanks much!

    Hi Dyann,

The Holidays are such a magical time of the year to visit Walt Disney World!  I love seeing all the decorations in the parks as well as the resorts.  It is worthwhile taking the Monorail or buses to see the other resorts.  The Grand Floridian is absolutely stunning at this time of year, and you must see the homemade Gingerbread House there!  I would certainly take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours during this busy time as well as getting there at park open.  I have used the Park Hours Calendar as well as Undercover Tourist Crowd Calendar online to help figure out the best schedule for you.  I would recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservations now.  I would recommend going to Epcot (9 am-9:30 pm) on 12/22, Magic Kingdom (8 am- 1 am) on 12/23, Hollywood Studios (8 am-8 pm) on 12/24, Epcot (9 am-12:30 am) on 12/25, Hollywood Studios (9 am-1 am) on 12/26, Epcot (9 am- 1:30 am) on 12/27, Animal Kingdom (8 am -8 pm) on 12/28, and Hollywood Studios (9 am-1 am) on 12/29.  Animal Kingdom also has Extra Magic Hours on 12/25 from 8 am to 8 pm.  This would be less busy that Epcot.  Whatever schedule you choose, Dyann, I know that your Holidays will be extra Magical!  Thank you for the question and let me know if I can help you further plan your vacation.  Welcome Home!
