"Welcome home," Christy! Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Christy, when I saw this question I just knew I had to answer it because my family is in a very similar situation. We also have a stay booked at
Disney's Old Key West Resort for this August, and do not purchase Annual Passes for my kids (
because... shhhh... sometimes Mom and Dad like to sneak down for a Walt Disney World getaway without them) and so, don't have theme park tickets either.
Christy, while the official word is that
new ticket sales for 2020 will open up "later this summer," we don't yet have any details about how that process will work. I'm hopeful that Disney will be releasing this information soon. Make sure to bookmark the
Disney Parks Blog and keep an eye on your email, just in case communication comes in that form. In the meantime, the conversation in my house has been about how we can enjoy all of the
resort ammenities like poolside fun, Movies Under the Stars and
Disney Springs in case we aren't able to access the parks. While it may not be the scenario I imagined, I am looking forward spending time with my family at our "home away from home" and I hope you are as well.
Christy, all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel wish you a vacation full of unforgettable moments. Please come back and see us with any other questions you might have!
